Details of casualty were published in The Times, 05.10.1917, page 5. Article lists age as 27, and residence as North Lodge, Hatfield. It also reports that he was "terribly burned", and died at Eaton Square RFC Hospital.
1911 census: no matching entry in Hatfield but there is Walter M Featherstone, aged 21 (born 1890) living in Staines, Middlesex, and a Walter Featherstone, aged 20 (born 1891) living in Sunderland]
